MEET OUR ARTISTS
JESSICA
Jessica is one of the owners of Brow & Crown Collective, as well as a multi-talented artist. As an owner, Jessica oversees the day-to-day operations, ensures the salon is running smoothly and everyone receives the best experiences possible.
As an artist, she performs a full array of hair color and cutting services including balayage, multidimensional color, blonding, vivids, and curly hair cutting. Brow and lash services are also some of her favorites, including tinting, waxing, lifting, and laminating.
Jessica’s career as a beauty industry professional began in 2007 after graduating from The Temple, A Paul Mitchell Partner School. After working as a successful stylist for several years, she then opened Illuminate Salon in Maryland in 2013 and won best local salon for 2017-2020, before she sold and moved to Pittsburgh in 2021. Starting a career all over again in a new city is a daunting task, but Jessica loves what she does and has no doubt she can make Brow & Crown a Pittsburgh favorite too!
When she’s not in the salon, she is most likely at home hanging out with the reason she moved to Pittsburgh – her boyfriend Brian – and playing with Kodi, their golden retriever. You can also catch her at any good local brewery or a loud metal, punk, or rock show.

LAURA
Laura is one of the owners of Brow & Crown Collective, as well as one of the brow artists. Laura also owns the nearby cosmetic tattoo shop La Marie Brow Club, the sister location to Brow & Crown.
After many successful years with LMBC, she saw the need for a complimentary location just for brow and lash grooming. Cosmetic tattoos are low maintenance, but not no-maintenance. Here Laura provides brow services that allow her clients to get the utmost out of their permanent makeup, such as waxing, shaping, tinting, and lamination. These can also serve as a “test drive” for anyone thinking about getting a cosmetic tattoo, and she looks forward to meeting new clients as well.
Laura has spent her entire professional career in the beauty industry. Starting with becoming a professionally trained makeup artist and later a several times certified cosmetic tattoo artist, she is also a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician. Through it all she has continued to grow and invest in herself by gaining more education and skills along the way. Her favorite part of working on faces though has always been brows and eyelashes. She loves the effect of how those two things alone immediately give a fresh, awake, and youthful appearance – they are always the icing on the cake when finishing a full face of makeup.
When Laura isn’t working, she really loves spending time with her French bulldog Lucille and Boston terrier Sherman. Throw some trashy reality TV in the mix, and she’s a happy girl!
